A good tee shot can leave an excellent opportunity to hit this green in two shots. However, the hole is lined with out of bounds left and right. In addition, two fairway bunkers guard the right side. The second shot is the key to this hole. Once again there is out of bounds left, a deep greenside bunker and a pond that guards the front of the green. The conservative choice is to lay up with the second shot leaving a short iron into the green. An aggressive play is going for the green in two with a possible eagle putt, but if the shot isn't hit solid and square penalty strokes are usually incurred. This is a truly risk versus reward hole.
